About Me
I have gained many teaching years in Education first as a tutor and now as a qualified experienced teacher of science from the UK. I initially completed my undergraduate BSc (Hons) in Chemistry, at Kings College London. I then went on to complete my UK teaching qualification (QTS) and PGCE with Chemistry. Subsequently followed by a Master’s (MEd) in education – transforming practice from the University of Cambridge.
My journey started off in a similar trajectory as many others before me helping and tutoring close family and friends and realising an appetite to venture forward. I was encouraged to progress and praised for the way I delivered instructions. I must thank a lot of people along the way in harnessing this potential. Those who acknowledged my efforts and were grateful for the support, the well-wishers, the wonderful teachers, and friends I learnt a great deal from, the setbacks that I endured along the way and of course my loving family who have supported me throughout. I hope to provide insight into the world that I have understood. With these thoughts provide knowledge in my small capacity to the ultimate program carried out by the universe. The creation of the website is a manifestation of this. My aim was set; after completing my Chemistry degree, I would teach and benefit those I can help within my reach and influence.
I love teaching, it comes with its challenges but with it are those exciting truly memorable moments which can only be lived through experience. Whether it be a child who progressed with little English to start off; going onto achieve excellent grades, or the students who wished you well and felt a deep sense of gratitude for your efforts, the countless cards, the gifts and the heartfelt messages. These external forces have an impact on you without doubt and motivate you to carry on. The biggest force, however, is that force that transcends all others, the inner self, the conscious thought that keeps telling you to carry on and having trust in this process, physically and mentally experiencing this growth is often less talked about. Understanding passion for what it is and living it through your students and outward interactions. When you are on the journey, it is the act of good deeds that keeps the fire burning and prevents you from diminishing your activity. May it be beneficial for those who read, hear, or see it.
